Fishing

In order to fish, players will need to equip a fishing pole and look for the fish icons on the map to find fishing locations. At the location there will be a fish icon above the water for players to click on. If they have a fishing pole equipped, the line will auto-cast into the water and the player's action bar will be replaced with abilities from the fishing pole rather then from their weapon. There will be an option to reel the fish in once it becomes attached to the line as well as an ability to stop fishing. 

To view the current level of fishing proficiency, click on the character icon (or use "C" on the keyboard) and go to the Profession tab.  Players will see their current level and the points needed to get to the next level.  If a character attempts to fish in a zone too high for their fishing level it is most likely the attempts to catch fish will fail. Different fishing poles will offer different bonuses that may increase the success of catching rarer fish or reduce the chance of failure by a small margin. 

Be sure to watch for annoucements of Fishing Tournaments and special rare fish in specific zones. The annoucements are global so they can be seen  on the player's UI regardless of where they are currently questing.
