A Family is a social group for players and is separate from a Guild . This comes with no benefits other than a separate chat channel. Players who are in a guild, can also be in a family. There are no requirements or fee to start a Family and players who are not concerned about the benefits of a guild, may want to consider creating a Family to keep in touch with friends in-game. To access the Family window, press "O" on the keyboard or use the Social icon at the bottom left of the screen (looks like two people shaking hands) and select the Friends tab. This window will show the Family name, leader and any members in the Family. If players cannot see everyone in the Family, make sure the "Show offline members" is unchecked. Players can also use this window to leave a Family.
